What’s new for Keynsham Town Council Arts Development?
The new arts development worker Jules Blake has been in post since June 08, carrying on from the great work, the recent arts development worker Suzy Mizrahi has achieved over past three years.
Jules works two days a week as the Arts Development Worker.
As of December the 13th, the website for Keynsham@art will no longer be in use, due to management, financial, and marketing factors. We will be launching a new arts development section on the Keynsham Town Council Website in March 09.
Suzy can still be found working very hard as the Keynsham Music Festival Coordinator developing the 2009 Keynsham Music Festival.

Do you care about the arts in Keynsham?
The Arts Development Worker Jules is creating the new Keynsham Arts Development Strategy for 2009-2011; we invited you to have your say about the future of the arts in Keynsham through questionnaires and consultation.
The Arts Development Strategy will be available mid 2009 and will be a working model, in order to respond to peoples view, locally and nationally in arts development work.
A Big Thank You to everyone for giving us their views. We are always here to listen to your ideas, so keep letting us know what you think about the arts and what you want in Keynsham.
New in 2009 for Keynsham Art’s Development
·A monthly arts newsletter- Will keep you updated as to what arts projects and events are happening in and around Keynsham, Bristol and BANES. Reviews on the arts and spotlights on local artists and groups.
If you have an arts event coming up in or around Keynsham, a story to tell, a poem, participated in arts project and want to tell us about it. please send details by the 22nd of each month, next deadline for January issue is Monday the 22nd of December.
·A database for artists, groups and companies
·An arts advice surgery- Once a month one to one sessions with the arts development worker, to offer advice, support and sign posting opportunities.
·Networking and sharing events- These events will be an opportunity for all interested in developing the arts in Keynsham to meet, showcase new and recent arts work.
·Currently Developing a Volunteer Programme to be launched mid 2009
·Currently developing opportunities for visual artists to display there work in a variety of settings in Keynsham to be launched mid 2009
